Hey, Hey! Here is your official FPF notice for 1/18/02, a little early this
week so we could send around the pictures from our camp out this past weekend.FPF will be at Potter's again this week. We are too lazy to move the chairs
anywhere else. Linda will be gone to Florida, so Darrel is begging for anyone to bring him some food. He will be getting weak by Friday!Attached are the pictures from our camp out Jan. 12-13. In chronological
order, they start with #39.jpg and work back to #1.jpg. The link at the bottom will get you there. We had quite an adventure at Potter's farm. The first order of business
once we got back to the campsite was to call Bryan on the cell phone and order in some beer. He came crashing down the hill, jumped the creek, parked on top of our firewood pile and hopped out with the beer. He was within 3 steps of the lounge chair when he got stopped. After downing some of the beer, it was time for him to go. After much tire spinning, mud flinging and pushing, Darrel decided to go after the Jeep to pull him up the hill. After he got the Jeep stuck, then it was time to go after the Kubota tractor. We were then able to settle in for supper and a good time around a warm
camp fire. Thanks to Josh and Jason being so open to encouragement, we were supplied with plenty of firewood. You know, that old "We'll time you to see how fast you can cut it" trick has worked ever since my kids were little!Greg stopped by after Guard duty with Myla and Ojoe (the dog). After they
left we noticed that Ojoe had marked his territory on all of our packs and food. Yum, yum! It got down to 17.4 degrees F. overnight according to the official campsite thermometer but we stayed fairly toasty thanks to the propane heaters.Next day on the way out we started a new tradition -- tractorpacking. It
made the trip back much easier! We're ready to go again!!
