Fire Pit Friday this week is at the Potter's. Darrel says bring whatever you want to eat. He will have the meal-in-a-pouch grill ready for anyone who wants to cook a packet.

Winter starts at 2:22 pm Friday, so we can toast the Winter Solstice. Lame excuse? Sure. But it's better than our usual practice of drinking for no reason at all.

Also, whoever wants to can lead us in Christmas carolling -- Bryan?
