Hey, Hey!

Good Friday and the long awaited northern migration of the Tennessee boys is upon us. We'll be at Potter's for ribs and fixin's. Deb is bringing tater salad, and Linda is bringing slaw. Any other dishes that go with ribs (such as baked beans, hint, hint) would be welcomed. So would homemade bread, Jody. And, of course, dessert.

The Rogers said they are bringing the guitar, so it looks like we'll be in for some pickin' and grinnin'. Maybe some singin', too. Hopefully everybody will be grinnin' and only those with string instruments will be pickin'. Any other pickin' will require hand washing before we eat.

Anybody who has any kind of noise maker and wants to join in the Wilbur Country Band is welcome to do so. (That means you, Eric....... Potter can supply electricity.) A fiddle and a harmonica would be good, too. I think I'm dreaming now. Maybe a kazoo or two.

I think Potter cleaned the barn because the trash bin was full this morning. That means we're in good shape, rain or shine. And, of course, whether it rains or not, there'll always be the 'shine.

See you Friday.

P.S. A large crowd is expected this week, so you might consider bringing a folding chair or two.
