Family Access
ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS:
Schedules posted are tentative and may change
due to conflicts. Students will receive a finalized version of their
schedule during homeroom on August 13th.
When checking on your son/daughter's grades and GPA,
please be mindful
that FINAL trimester grades are not posted until five days after the
trimester ends. The most current GPA is updated ten days after a
trimester ends. As always, if you have questions about your
son/daughter's current academic situation please contact their teacher
or counselor.

The
MSD of Martinsville is proud to announce our latest technology tool,
Family Access. Family Access allows teachers, administrators, and
parents to communicate via the Internet on important issues such as
attendance, grading, discipline, and food services. Here’s how it
works:
If you
are interested in participating and you have access to the Internet, you
will be assigned a user name and password. Once you are linked to the
Family Access site, you will be able to view information relating to
your children as it is contained in the school system’s database. You
will have access to your child’s attendance records, scheduling
information, food service information (including what was purchased on
specific days and the cost of the items), discipline, grading that was
entered in Skyward (middle school and high school students only),
demographic information, and emergency contact information. There are safeguards in the network system to prevent anyone
else from viewing your child’s information, unless you give them your
name and password.

To enroll, complete the Family Access
Application form and return it to the Superintendent’s Office, located
at 460 S Main Street, Martinsville. The office is open Mon-Thurs 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m. The application form must be returned in person and photo ID
will be required for the protection of our students. Please call Nancy

If you disagree with any information shown on your child's
record, you will need to contact the appropriate school
official. If your disagreement is in regards to attendance,
discipline, or grading, contact your child's school.
