| The Centerton School staff is
committed to helping students reach their full potential through a variety of
learning experiences that enhance the application of knowledge and the use of
technology to successfully meet the demands of daily living. We believe that the development of the unique potential of
each student is the overriding mission of the school. To optimize student achievement, the planning and teaching
process is driven by the Indiana state standards and required proficiencies.
By incorporating the Six Pillars of Character, Centerton develops a
social awareness that reflects respect and compassion, as
well as shaping the emotional growth of the student. These are critical components of
our commitment. Of primary
importance is the realization that learning occurs continuously and is a
lifelong process. The Centerton
School staff, working as a team with the family and the community, will strive
to provide our students with the active learning environment necessary to
