FOOD DRIVE   We are accepting donations of canned and non-perishable foods at Centerton Elementary for our needy families at Centerton Elementary.

 

ROCKET READER   Claire Runkel, McKenna Gardner, Zachary Craig, Trenton Pfaff, and Aaron Riffel have all read 5 books.  Audrey Craig, Leeann Hechinger and Emily Burns have read 10 books.  Faith Magennis, Areena Hanson, Jaysie Merry, and Gwyneth Hanson have read 15 books.  Faith Magennis has read 20 books and William Magombo has read 30 books.    WAY TO GO READERS!!!

 

LOST AND FOUND   We have an abundance of lost and found items at Centerton.  If your child has lost a jacket, lunch box, hat, etc. please have them check the lost and found.  

 

ENERGY ASSISTANCE   Winter is just around the corner.  If you meet income guidelines, you could be eligible for the Energy Assistance program through CAP.  The program assists income eligible households with obtaining fuel or propane and assistance from the danger of disconnection from their gas or electric service.  You could also be eligible for the weatherization program.  Please contact Mrs. Diseroad at 317-831-3410, ext. 1923 if you are interested in obtaining an application. 

 

Boys’ Basketball   Our fifth grade Wildcats will have their first game on Saturday, November 22nd at 9:00 a.m.    They are playing at Centerton Elementary and will play against the Wolverines.  Boys playing on the Wildcat team are Eric Douglass, Logan Ratts, Joe Ratz, Wyatt Stroder, Cameron Vanderzeyde, T.J. Weston, and Dillon Langley.  Students from Baptist Tabernacle are Cody Thomas and R.J. McKinney.  The Wildcat's coach is Eric Ratts.                 GOOD LUCK WILDCATS!!!!

 

CHARACTER COUNT Centerton School students and staff will join the Martinsville Community in efforts to build character through the “Character Counts” program.  Students and staff are encouraged to follow the SIX PILLARS OF CHARACTER.  The six pillars of character are:

The featured pillar for the month of October is Fairness.   The October winner is Anna Porter, second grade.
