Spelling Bee

The following students participated in the Paragon Elementary Spelling Bee on Monday, January 28:

Josh Kendall, Shayla Morgan, Ellie Perry, Carrie Schnaiter, Corbin Staley, Ivanna Stuart, Mahalah Wilson, and Desiree' Wiser

Our winner was Shayla Morgan from Room 9.  She will compete in the Regional Spelling Bee on March 1 at 10:00 a.m. at the Monroe County Public Library in Bloomington, IN.  Runner-u was Carrie Schnaiter from Room 12.  We congratulate Shayla, Carrie, and all students who competed in the spelling bee. We are proud of you!

President's Day

School will not be in session on Monday, February 18 in observance of President's Day.

Math Bowl Invite

Our Math Bowl team will participate in a Math invitational at 4:00 p.m., Monday, February 11 at West Middle School.  Parents are invited to attend.

Jump Rope for Heart

All Paragon Elementary students will be participating in Jump Rope for Heart during PE classes on February 26 & 28.  Information was sent home with students by Mrs. Jastraub.

Yearbooks

Don't forget to get your yearbook orders in.  The price this year is $14 each or two for $25.  All orders are due by Wednesday, February 13.  Order envelopes are available at the school office.

Valentine Parties

PTO Valentine parties are Thursday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m.  Morning Kindergarten will have their party at 10:00 a.m.

Snow Day

School will be in session on Friday, April 11 due to classes being cancelled for snow on Wednesday, January 30.  Other built-in snow days are April 25 and May 5.
