Grandparent's Night/Book Fair

Our annual Grandparent's Night/Book Fair and chili supper will be on Thursday, November 8, 2007.  Teachers will be in their rooms from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.  Chili and cinnamon rolls will be served from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.  Book Fair will be open from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Early Release

On Wednesday, November 14, students will be released at 1:00 p.m.  Lunch will be served.  Kindergarten students will follow the schedule as follows:

AM  9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

PM  11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

There will be no extended day Kindergarten classes.

Attendance Trophy

Congratulations to Miss Green's Room 8 for winning the attendance trophy for the 1st Nine weeks.  They were awarded with a pizza party.   Great job students!

Thank You

Thank you PTO for the snacks and lunch provided for staff during parent/teacher conferences.  It was great to have some food provided during the hectic schedule.

Also, to all room parents and volunteers for all your time and effort to make our fall parties such a great success.  It couldn't be done without you!

Dressing for Cold Weather

Cold weather is here and time to dress appropriately.  All students will have outside recess if at all possible.  Be sure your child brings a coat or jacket and gloves to school.

The Mall

Paragon Christian Church will begin their after-school program, The Mall, beginning Wednesday, November 7.  Permission slips were sent home with students this week.  Only those students who have returned their permission slips will be permitted to attend the program.  The church bus will pick up students at the end of the school day and parents will pick them up at the church after the program.

Recycle Bins

West Central Solid Waste District has relocated their recycle bins from Paragon Elementary to the Paragon Lions Club Park near the new Town Hall.
