Fall Parties

Fall parties will be held on Wednesday, October 31 at 2:00 p.m.  Students may bring their costumes to school.  Please select costumes that are suitable for children.  NO WEAPONS, SHARP OBJECTS, FACE PAINT, FACE MASKS, OR HAIR COLOR IS PERMITTED.

Picture Retakes

Picture retakes will be Tuesday, October 30.  New students to Paragon or students who were absent on picture day should have their pictures taken.  If you would like a retake, please be sure to return your child's original package.

Grandparent's Night/Book Fair

Our annual Grandparent's Night/Book Fair and spaghetti supper will be on Thursday, November 8, 2007.  Teachers will be in their rooms from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.  Spaghetti will be served from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.  Book Fair will be open from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week will be the week of October 29 - November 2.  We will have theme days all week to support important anti-drug messages.  More information will be sent home with students.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for October 23 & 24.  Students in Grades 1-5 and morning Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. both days.  Afternoon Kindergarten students will not attend school either day.  There will be no extended day Kindergarten classes.

Fall Vacation

Fall Break is October 25 & 26, 2007.  There will be no school on these dates.

Early Release

On Wednesday, November 14, students will be released at 1:00 p.m.  Lunch will be served.  Kindergarten students will follow the schedule as follows:

AM  9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

PM  11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

There will be no extended day Kindergarten classes.

Family Service Coordinator

Mrs. Wingler, our Family Service Coordinator, will be on leave beginning the end of October until January 7, 2008.  Her replacement will be Mrs. Karen Mimna, who is FSC for Central Elementary.  Please feel free to contact her during this time if your family has a need or concern.

Elementary 2K Cross-Country Run

The following students from Paragon Elementary participated in the Elementary 2K Run @ MHS on Tuesday, October 2.  Great job runners!

Grace Beach, Karlee Cooper, Josie Fisher, Natalie Lowry, Elizabeth McElrath, Taylor Teeters, Jake Wiggins, Mahalah Wilson, and Garrett York.

Court Orders

In order to follow court orders concerning custody issues, we must have current copies of any court documents on file.  Please send any new information or changes to the school office.  We cannot refuse a parent the right to pick up their child unless there is a court order.
