Academic Superbowl Team 2005/2006
Congratulations to the Academic Team for their performance at Clark-Pleasant Middle School in their final meet.
The English team placed first overall with a score of 20 out of 25 possible. They also came in first place in Class II at this meet.
The Science team placed second in their class, while Social Studies team placed fourth.
The Interdisciplinary team tied for third, but won the tie-breaker. The Math team placed fifth in their class at the meet.
In addition, the English team tied for second place in the state for Class II and through a tie-breaker received third place.

The superbowl team members also participated in the invitational meet in Nashville. At this meet, the science team placed first. The English team came in third place.

English team members: Melinda Elston, Kathleen Houppert, Taylor Muncy, and Daniel Kerstiens.
Social Studies team members: Anthony Hammack, Max Wolfe, Zach Fletcher, and Colin Campbell.
Science team members: Taylor Muncy, Melinda Elston, Leith Campbell, Jared Holman and Daniel Kerstiens.
Coaches: Anthony Burgess (science), Carol DeMotte (math), Kenny Collier (social studies) and Becky Strange (English).
