Drug Free Club

The  Drug Free Club is  a very positive group.  The ability to resist drugs and alcohol, as well as spreading the word of "saying no to drugs" is very rewarding.

Meetings will be held on the following dates/times:

October 6, 2008 - After School Meeting - 2:30-4:00

October 13, 2008 - After School Meeting - 2:30 - 4:00 (last meeting to prepare for Red Ribbon Week)

October 20, 2008 - After School Meeting - 2:30 - 4:00.  We will decorate the school for Red Ribbon Week!  All members wear their T-shirts on TUESDAY!

The Drug Free Club will decorate the school with drug free posters, pennants, and will sponsor a drug free dance in honor of Red Ribbon Week, a nationally recognized event.

  This year, Red Ribbon Week is Tuesday October 21st - Friday, October 24th.

Dates are tentative; students should always listen to announcements in case there's a change in meeting dates.     ` All meeting times are 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Other activities and programs will continue throughout the school year, with an emphasis on staying drug free.  Our parents and community should be proud of these youths for their commitment to making our school a better place.

What is Red Ribbon Week?

-a time for gratitude for all the lives that remain drug free

-a time to pledge to live a safe and drug-free life

-a time to remember those we have lost in the fight against drugs
