You and a partner will research the life of one person who was very important to the American Colonies fight for independence.  The emphasis will be on events that caused this person to become involved in the Revolution and the effect this person had on its outcome.  We will be spending time in the library where you will be able to use Internet sources, encyclopedias, and other sources of information.  

 REQUIREMENTS

*2-5 typed pages

*Basic biography of this person's life

*At least 3 sources (at least 1 must be non-internet)

*Events in which this person took part

*Cause and effect of this person and the Revolution

*Power point presentation

 CREATIVE PROJECT OPTIONS

*Write a mini play from your person's point of view.

*Create a collage of the important events in this person's life.

*Create a picture book biography about this person.
