Ms. Strange's "Plan a Trip!"

Your mission:  to plan a trip to the country of your choice.  You must include airfare, lodging and excursions for one week.  Your budget is $2,500.

1.  Pick a country and the city from which you will arrive and depart.

2.  Are there any special health risks?  What will it cost to get the proper immunizations and certificates you may need?

3.  What is the climate of the area you are visiting during the time you are visiting?  What type of clothing will you need to pack?

4.  Find the cost of airfare arriving sometime in the summer of 2004.

5.  Choose your lodging and find the cost.

6.  What will you eat?  Plan a typical day's menu with costs, then determine what it will cost to eat for your visit.  Are there any special dining spots?  What do they cost?

7.  What places will you visit?  Are there any special tourist attractions or historical attractions that you will see?  What are the costs?

8.  (Optional for bonus points.)  What is the currency in the country that you are planning to visit?  After deducting your airfare (which would be paid in American dollars) how much will you have in the new currency?  Is American money worth more or less in the country you are visiting?   How much will you really get to spend?
