WMS Orchestra
The West Middle School Orchestra program, directed by Ms. Shelly Phillips, is taught as a class and open to any student in Grades Six, Seven or Eight. Any student may start orchestra at any time during middle school, although it is recommended that a student start in sixth grade. Students may choose which instruments they would like to play and instruments may be purchased or rented. The orchestra has several performances during the year: Fall, Christmas, and Spring concerts as well as opportunities to compete in musical competitions.
