Sixth graders will learn keyboarding through “good old” typing practice and through a wide assortment of video games.  The most popular game is called “Crazy Keys”. This game requires students to type the alphabet as quickly as possible.  These games may be found at www.freetypinggame.net.

Seventh and Eighth graders rotate between Blue days and White days. The color of the day is determines the students' activitiesStudents will learn computer skills through keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher, or they will practice other technological skills working through modules and simulations. There are eight modules in which the students participate:  Introduction to Technology, Animation, CAD (Computer Aided Drafting,) Electronics, Fiber Optics and Lasers, Flight Simulation, Radio, and Auto Exploration.  Each student is required to complete the Introduction to Technology Module before they can move on to any of the other seven modules.
